Preface
The Bhagavad Gita is revered as a tome of profound wisdom. Yet its pre-modern format and repetitive style often make it challenging for modern readers to grasp and distill its core messages.
To address this challenge, I have transformed the original verses (shlokas) into modern prose and added section headings for better navigation and understanding. I have also included brief, objective summaries of each chapter to guide readers through the text.
This work draws from the mainstream translation published by Gauranga Vani Publishers in 2022, with commentary by Swami B.G. Narasingha. This version is available online at Rupanuga Bhajan Ashram.
While I have faithfully preserved their English translation, I have omitted Swami Narasingha's commentary. I have also refrained from adding my own interpretations, allowing readers to engage with the Gita directly and form their own understanding.
